When shipping FBM, is there any way to restrict sales to certain zip codes or regions, or limit sales to others? I ask because, in some cases, the buyer is so far away that the cost of shipping erases any profit and even results in a loss. One or two, no big deal, but when it ratchets up to several, it becomes cost prohibitive.

Hi Monia.There’s no invoice. You can print the packing slip from your order details page. Unfortunately, we don’t teach shipping FBM as that is not the the preferred method.

I may have asked this before, I cannot recall. I know we should never list and sell a renewed condition item as having a new condition. But does the reverse hold true? That is, if a listing is selling profitably but indicates it is “renewed,” can we send in new condition units without risking penalty? This presumes there are no new…

Chris if the item is listed as “renewed” that means it’s used. If you sent the item in new condition it’s unlikely anyone would complain 🙂

Good morning all. I want to provide an update from my question yesterday on the Saturday morning IM Live, in case it should happen to any of you. Recall I had sourced a product, sent it in via the Prep Center, all with no issues on our side. But once in and active, Amazon Search Suppressed the listing with a link “Fix Listing Issue”…

I have an ASIN I am researching, and the Amazon page it is listed on shows all FBA and FBM Sellers’ units as in a condition other than ‘New.’ The filter has no option for ‘New.’ Does this imply mean there are no sellers with new condition units? Or does it mean that any prospective sellers of new units are restricted from the ASIN?

Hey Chris – it certainly means there are no sellers who have the item in “new” condition – it could likely also mean Amazon doesn’t allow sellers to sell this in “new” condition. Without reviewing the listing, these are the only thoughts of what could be happening.

Very often in Seller Central, I’ll check on the My Orders tab, see several orders, yet the revenues under the “Payments” tab just sit there, either not moving for a few days or going up only slightly. Sometimes even checking the next day, more sales process but the Payments either again do not move from the prior day or move very little.…

Hey Chris, revenues are not based on sales. Revenue are based on when your order ship. So on Amazon, you don’t get paid when you sell anything. You get paid when your order shipped to the customers. And sometimes it can take days for your items to ship.
