Happy Thanksgiving, folks.
But I am not very happy with my selling performance: ran out of stock, several products SUDDENLY became GATED!-losing money with stranded inventory. Any ideas?

Yes Edgar – keep sending items to Amazon. We talk about this all the time as one of the challenges we work through. I’ve been suggesting everyone send extra inventory to Amazon since August. If you were on the Group Live I did the other day I specifically discussed items suddenly becoming Gated.

Hello, folks. Is it ok to list chocolates again? The last time I tried was May 17, 2025 (this was one of the first products I listed and sent to Prep Center-no errors when I sent it) but when it reached Prep Center, they rejected it because Amazon would not allow it.
I got ungated again in a different but popular chocolate brand that is why I am asking.-
yep, meltable season started last month. Just make sure you have sent a prep center form before you send in the items, and it goes through. Congrats!

During the Saturday Openhouse I mentioned I was approved for many products. Now I want to list them and went to Seller Central. But I saw this in my Approval List. (See screenshot attached).
Can anyone help? I can not identify the products because they are all listed generically as “branded”.-
Edgar, welcome to the world of confusion with Amazon. Using the ungating list you should be tracking what you are approved for so you can go back and reference it there. Hope that helps.

After being ungated from a really good high-volume-fast selling product, I got a letter from someone who claims to be the brand manager of that product. she wanted me to take down my listing and threatened further action if I do not do as she bid me to do. I am still reeling from so many adverse events to my account in Amazon.

Happy Friday! Well, maybe not for me. My listing was re-gated by Amazon. I had previously sold this item and this is the second batch after I re-stocked! They are 16 oz stainless steel dog bowls. Amazon re-gated and classified it under Pesticides. OMG! Please refer to the screenshots.
Be alert out there when you are re-stocking! Good to check again.

Continuing with my supplier challenges-here is a lesson learned:
– I earlier posted about my one shipment being missing after reaching the Amazon facility
– I also posted about a seller shipping the wrong product.In the case of the missing shipment, I was asked to submit a request to investigate form. Which I did and was refunded.

I think it cannot reach the AWS Servers. There was news that connectivity to AWS is spotty or outright not possible.
Will wait for it to resolve itself.

Spyrivals X no longer indicates if the product is gated or ungated-meaning, it does not show if I need rto apply for permission to list or if I can list it.

More than likely it’s being moved by Amazon but occasionally they lose items and then they show up at a later time.
