Looks fantastic. Buy for $44.99 from Amazon and sell on eBay for $122.05. It’s selling really well on Amazon. eBay sales are always fewer.

But closer research into the eBay data shows that only 4 have sold over the past 6 months at an average price of $52.60.

If I bought from Amazon and sold at the average price, I would make maybe $0.25 but that doesn’t account for sales tax. I can get free delivery using my Prime account but Amazon would charge sales tax depending on where it is shipped.

Currently there are 14 active listings, with the lowest price being $44.99 with free shipping. That seller seems to have plenty of inventory.

I understand that I can list this item on eBay for whatever price I want (at least 20% higher than Amazon to make even a penny on it) and IF AND WHEN it sells, I can cover my position by buying on Amazon. If this was a stock, this would be called “selling short”.

In this particular case, I could be waiting a good long time for my higher priced eBay sale to happen.
