Is there a way to exclude a category?

I searched Best Buy for video games before other categories. I hid the games that were sold out, no longer at that price etc. Then I wanted to see what was interesting in the rest of Best Buy – and some video games showed up that I’m pretty sure I already looked at. I thought that once a deal was hidden that it would stay hidden while searching that particular store. Is that not how hiding deals works?
